Dorcas Ministry Focus On North Greenville Crisis Ministry
Q. 90. How is the Word to be read and heard, that it may become effectual to salvation?
A. That the Word may become effectual to salvation, we must attend thereunto with diligence, preparation, and prayer; receive it with faith and love, lay it up in our hearts, and practice it in our lives.

The Works We Will Do: “The works the church performs after Christ’s ascension are greater because they are works done in the new era that was breaking in under Jesus’ ministry but which arrived more fully in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.” (August 10, page 40).
Sunday School: This Sunday at 9:30am in the Camellia Room, we will continue in the book of I Peter, focusing on 4:12-5:11. Our topic for Sunday will be, “Entrusting Your Soul To A Faithful Creator.” The Christian’s great assurance in the face of all trials is that God’s almighty hand of providence works all things together for good with those who love God. For background reading, look at I Peter 4 and 5.
Wednesday Prayer And Bible Study will be on vacation until September 5.
