The noncanonical books of the the intertestamental period can give us some understanding of the way the Lord was preparing His people for the coming of the Messiah. Here, we take a look at the establishment of the Old Testament canon, and then the New Testament canon as defined by the Roman Catholic and the Protestant Churches.
