Pastor Barron is representing the ARPC at the NAPARC meeting in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Joining us again this Sunday will be Rev. Chuck Evans from Hendersonville NC. His sermon title will be “Faith Like A Child,” preaching from Mark 10: 13-31.
Devotional Ministry Begins December 1
During November, the Session will be distributing a December Table Talk devotional book to each family unit. We will have a discussion gathering for the December issue in January. Watch for an announcement. The devotionals and discussion groups will help to keep us accountable and provide a time of close fellowship connected with the word of Truth and bearing one another up.
Thanksgiving Gathering November 17
A church-wide Thanksgiving gathering will take place at the Barron’s residence Friday, November 17, starting with set-up at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m. Roast beef will be served and will be supplemented by covered dishes (bread, salads and casseroles). If you haven’t signed up, reply to this email right away with the number in your party and what you will bring.
Dorcas Ministry November Collection November 19
This month we will be supporting the North Greenville Crisis Center with winter clothing (new or slight used: blankets, coats, hats, scarves, mittens, etc.), peanut butter, jelly, soup, canned goods, macaroni and cheese. The collection will be gathered in on Sunday, November 19.
Christmas Carol Service At The Woodlands
On Sunday afternoon, December 10, we will have our second annual Christmas Carol Sing in the Camellia Room at The Woodlands, beginning at 4:00 pm. The service will be followed by light refreshments in the Orchid Room. Make plans now to attend.
